DSS_001 1.0 Mutant mice and wild-type controls (2 female and 2 males/group) receive 1.5% dextran sodium sulphate (DSS) in drinking water for 7 days. Weights are recorded daily and any mice that have lost greater than 20% or that exhibit clinical signs are sacrificed. At day 10 mice are sacrificed and samples from the medial and distal gut are collected for histological analysis.
