<p>This entry represents the class I subfamily of poly(R)-hydroxyalkanoate synthases, which polymerises hydroxyacyl-CoAs with three to five carbons in the hydroxyacyl backbone into aliphatic esters termed poly(R)-hydroxyalkanoic acids.
