This transgene contains tau-lacZ with a floxed neo in the first exon of Cv2 to replace with lacZ at the first ATG. Cv2 (Bmper : BMP-binding endothelial regulator) is essential for multiple organogenetic processes that involve Bmp signals. Cv2 homozygous mutant mice show effects in the vertebral column and eyes.
