Kif26b遺伝子のノックアウトマウス。Kif26bは腎臓内のSall1発現細胞を用いたマイクロアレイによって見いだされた遺伝子であり、胎生期の腎臓形成に必須である。ホモマウスは腎臓を欠損し出生後、24時間以内に死亡する。
