B6xCBA受精卵にて作製したAicda-cre Tgマウスは少なくとも4世代樹立者によりB6にかけ戻され、その後寄託者によりさらに通算10世代B6にかけ戻された。そのマウスにB6背景を持つコンジェニックであるrosa-tdRFPマウスをかけ合わせ、姉妹兄弟交配で維持した。
Aicda遺伝子を含むBACのトランスジェニックであり、AIDの代わりにヒトCD2抗原とCreを発現する。Rosa26遺伝子座にCreによって発現誘導されるtdRFPレポーターを挿入されており、Acida-creトランスジーンの発現に合わせて細胞がtdRFPにより不可逆的にラベルされる。
