Developed by Kiyotoshi Sekiguchi, Institute for Protein Research, Osaka University in 2006. 129 derived ES cells were used to generate the mutant mice. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6.

基底膜分子QBRICK (Frem1) 遺伝子のノックアウトマウス。QBRICK遺伝子の開始ATGコドンがある第2エクソンをネオマイシン耐性遺伝子で置換。ホモノックアウトマウスではQBRICK蛋白質が発現せず、表皮水疱症、腎臓形成不全、合指、潜在眼球症などが不完全な浸透度で認められる。両腎が形成不全の場合は致死となる。

The RECIPIENT which wants to use the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE even after five years must obtain a written consent from the DEPOSITOR again.
