Developed by Masaru Taniguchi, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences in 2014. iPS cells were established by introducing Yamanaka factors into NKT cells derived from B6J spleen. Chimeric mice were generated and then backcrossed with C57BL/6J for 10 generations.

NKT-iPS由来Invariant TCR鎖 Va14-Ja18 cloneマウス。NKT細胞の分化メカニズム解析に用いられる。
B6Jマウス脾臓由来のNKT細胞に山中因子を導入、iPS化させた後、BALB/c由来blastocystにインジェクションしてキメラマウスを作出した。理研・谷口克博士により樹立(2014)キメラマウスを作出後、チャールス・リバーより購入したB6Jと10代バッククロスをかけ、兄弟交配にて系統維持をした。
