<p>Proteins in this entry are known as bicupins as they posses two copies of the cupin domain. Two different activities have so far been identified in this group of proteins; oxalate decarboxylase activity(<db_xref db="EC" dbkey="4.1.1.2"/>) and oxalate oxidase activity (<db_xref db="EC" dbkey="1.2.3.4"/>), although the latter has more often been found in distantly related monocupin (germin) proteins.</p>
