This domain carries the nuclear localisation signal (NLS) KKRKK, that indicates the cellular destiny of this anchor protein [<cite idref="PUB00044143"/>]. Binding to the regulatory subunits RI and RII of PKA is mediated via the RI-RII subunit-binding domain at the C terminus. </p>
