The RNA polymerase subunit RPB10 displays a high level of conservation across archaea and eukaryota. Structure determination of this subunit reveals a zinc-bundle topology, consisting of three alpha-helices stabilised by a zinc ion [<cite idref="PUB00015096"/>].
