<p>These sequences are all members of the Class IIA subfamily of the haloacid dehalogenase superfamily of aspartate-nucleophile hydrolases. The sequences are restricted to the Gram-negative and primarily alpha proteobacteria. Only one sequence has been annotated as other than "hypothetical." That one, from Brucella, is annotated as related to NagD, but only by sequence similarity and should be treated with some scepticism.</p>
