This family includes Hydrogen expression/formation protein, HypE, which may be involved inthe maturation of NifE hydrogenase; AIR synthase and FGAM synthase, which are involved in<i>de novo</i> purine biosynthesis; and selenide, water dikinase, an enzyme which synthesizesselenophosphate from selenide and ATP.
